Takato Castle Park, in Takato-machi, Ina City, Nagano Prefecture, occupies the 14-hectare ruins of Takato Castle — a Sengoku-era fortress with ties to warlord Takeda Shingen. Built by Shingen in 1547, it fell in 1582 during Oda Nobunaga's invasion under Takeda Katsuyori.
